statement

“All my work originates from an inner need to define Emptiness. I mean this quite literally, in an architectural way; to create empty spaces to emphasize the ever-present emptiness in space, but also, perhaps more importantly, as an immaterial need for emptiness to bring man back to his most fragile status. Stemming from an inner need for silence, to create structure, order, and lightness”.

Mark Kramer, 2011
